This project incorporated another aspect of Photoshop and allowed me to quickly come up with an idea for an animation. I wanted to show someone sitting on the beach, relaxing in a chair and watching someone parasailing go by. As a last concept, I threw in the buzzing bee and fly-swatter as a measure of suspense. The swatting action was not a means to upset any form of wildlife protection activist. It was just a way to make the animation slightly humorous. 😁
The Animation
Initially I didn’t think I had enough animation compared to the demo animation, so I threw in the bee buzzing behind the person relaxing, and thought of a fly swatter to hit it and prevent the relaxed person from getting stung. I also struggled trying to figure out how I could get the person parasailing to start off the screen, but it wouldn’t work right.
I didn’t have any trouble using the vector masks. However, it did take some time for me to understand the purpose for using it, but as I practiced with it, it made sense.
