Project Summary
The most interesting/influential thing I learned about my designer is that Emory Douglas was the mastermind behind the newspaper graphic for the Black Panther Party (BPP). In completing this project, I learned a lot more about him and the BPP than I have ever learned before.
The strongest design aspect of your presentation booklet is the fact that it resembles a newspaper; the main source of community that he and the BPP used to disseminate information to the black communities.
The aspects of InDesign that I utilized in creating this presentation booklet was utilizing swatches for my colors; as well as, creating paragraph styles for the main content on each page, the headings for each page, and the caption under each picture. I also used the parent pages to easily repeat what I wanted on the left side verse what I wanted on the right side.
